💡 As a PBAs team, we are learning every day how to communicate and operate best. To help us on this journey, we decided to document our team practices (so-called ‘operating system’) to be on the same page, continuously optimize our teamwork, and onboard new PBAs!

💕 How We Communicate 💕
🤓 In Slack
- Our People Builders Ambassadors Slack channel is our go-to communication space.
- We engage mostly in the general #people-builders-ambassadors ****channel.
- We default to group communication to ensure maximum visibility across the team and minimize 1:1 interaction.
- We use open project team channels to communicate updates and keep our work on track.
- We use individual and @here tags to help everyone follow along with communication threads, updates, and action items.

🗓 In Meetings
- Our PBAs team comes together once a month for a 1h30-long synchronous meeting.
- We use polls to schedule our team meeting dates month-on-month to try and optimize people’s schedules.
- Usually very interactive, we engage during our meetings on a Miro board (… the PB way! 😉), run brainstorming and working sessions, regularly share feedback, insights and learnings, and take the time to connect with one another.
- We usually co-create the meeting agenda, share reading or preparation material in advance, and request project team updates whenever necessary.
- These meetings can be converted to asynchronous communication on Slack if they become redundant or someone cannot attend.
